1Obtain metadata to track the quality of your data.

Know how you're collecting, who is collecting, and with what device; and find out how reliable your data is. To obtain metadata on a project, drag over an Auto field within the Form Template Editor and select the information that best suits your needs. This example shows two Auto fields which include information about who collected the form and what accuracy was obtained.

2Work offline with fully functional data and maps.

Use background maps in remote areas with no cell or Wi-Fi coverage by building an offline map cache to take with you. Generate map caches using the Locations function or in the process of creating a Task and check the box labeled 'Automatically create background map cache for this task'.

3Achieve centimeter level workflows.

If you own a centimeter-level receiver, such as a Trimble R2 GNSS receiver or a Trimble Geo 7X handheld, you can achieve accurate location positions down to 1 cm level.

4Utilize all levels of Trimble RTX correction services.

Subscriptions include Trimble® CenterPoint® RTX (>4 cm), Trimble FieldPoint RTX (>10 cm), Trimble RangePoint RTX (>30 cm), and Trimble ViewPoint RTX (50 cm). All subscriptions are available either via cellular IP or satellite.

5Create a region of interest as a location and link them to multiple projects.

To do this, navigate to the Locations tab on the left navigation bar. At the bottom of the Locations list, select 'Create.' Click the map to determine the boundaries of your new location. Double-click to end the drawing then edit the properties of the Location by giving it a name, display color, and map cache (optional), then click the checkmark at the bottom of the right panel to save.

6Show filtered features on map view.

If a filter is applied when sorting data based on a user's criteria, now the map view will also display the filtered result. Navigate to the filter tab at the top of the screen and select/deselect using the yellow indicators. The data in the map will reflect the filters selected.

7Upload existing GIS data or Trimble Business Center project files and use them as reference on the Web application.

To do this, download and install the Data Uploader from the TerraFlex Desktop Data Manager module, sign in with your TerraFlex credentials, navigate to your GIS data or Trimble Business Center files, check the boxes and click 'Upload'. Support for the Data Uploader includes .vce, .kml, .shp, and TGO project files. These files will appear under the Data Catalog Files tab within the TerraFlex Desktop application.

8Renew existing or purchase additional licence seats at any time during your current subscription.

This can be done either through the in-app subscription or via your local authorized Trimble dealer. Navigate to the Subscriptions tab under the Organization, select the subscription you wish to purchase, add the intended number of licenses and proceed to checkout.

9View online help on the Trimble InSphere website for instructional step-by-step workflows.

On the Trimble InSphere microsite, go to the Support page, click Getting Started, and navigate to the TerraFlex 'Browse Documentation' button.

10Edit already collected forms within the Web application in case quality checks are required.

Click on the collected form within the left panel or within the map. In the right panel, click the Edit button (pencil), then change the appropriate fields on the following page.
