Guest host Fernando Calvo developed the Trimble Access Buildings application and will demo workflows that he implements in his daily tasks as a survey and construction consultant. Fernando is based in Hamburg, Germany. He has been a Survey Engineer for 20 years, and has worked as Land and Building Surveyor, Software Developer, Project, Product and Sales Manager, at different companies around Europe such us Esri, Trimble, SunPower, SunEdison, and others. He runs a geospatial consulting company that assists engineering companies around the world to optimize their office-to-field-to-office workflows by customizing processes and combining hardware and software solutions such us TBC, Trimble Access, Trimble Realworks, SketchUp, ArcGIS, ArcPad, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit. Fernando has hosted several customized BIM workshops around Europe for land surveyors integrating their different data sources into automatic 2D and 3D models and BIM processes in TBC, SketchUp, and other Trimble solutions.
